Borlin Orchids Closeout Sale
After more than 60 years and two generations in the commercial orchid business, Borlin Orchids of Mentor Ohio is closing its doors for good. High heating costs, international competition, lower profit margins, and health concerns have forced Lou and Carol Borlin to close their commercial operation (They will keep their retail floral business open).
For many years Borlin Orchids was the largest orchid grower in the Midwest. They specialized in Cattleya cut flower production and have some of the largest flowering (5-7” blooms), most fragrant Cattleya orchids in North America.
Borlin Orchids has 11 commercial greenhouses with more than 30,000 healthy orchid plants. Everything must go by
December 30, so Lou has slashed prices to share them with you. These plants are extremely healthy and beautiful. They are disease free and sprouting new growth.
